If you are looking for a guru, a geek, or an elite, read description of my teammates ;)! I'm being called the Ninja, as I'm the one hiding myself and suddenly coming up with, hopefully, something new. I try to support members and bring my contribution to any member in need of few extra labour hours (who can't afford it due to lack of time). Of course, I'm not only a helper! I'm definitively working hard to make something great even though I spend too much time thinking about hockey! Beside that, I have only one goal, bring my contribution to improve tommorow's education for kids! Ok guys, if you have anything to deal with me, I'm always open ;), I can always make great deals!

Charles-Etienne Carrière

tl_files/images/photos/charlie.jpgI'm the "Omniscient planner" for the Tutorius team. That means whenever I ask a question, the only answer I get is "It will be done when it's done". Seriously, I'm the one in charge of keeping the planification of the project up to date and I'm also the one who gets mad when team members don't log the hours they work. As you can see from my picture, my special ability is to look like I'm 12 years old, which gives me a lot credibility everywhere on the campus... and even more when I get mad because people didn't log their hours.

Julien Fumard

tl_files/images/photos/julien.pngI have three responsabilities in this projet: I am the "documentation monk", which doesn't mean that I am religious and bald headed, but that I will have to make sure that everyone has properly commented  his own code, and that we are all able to find what we need in our extensive documents list. I am also the "marketing fanatic", which means I will do my best to promote our project to the teachers & young students which will be our best help to adapt tutoriUS for their own use! And finally last but not least, I am the french student ... which doesn't means I am here to syndicalize the team and to strike ... No, It just means that I am here only for the first session ... But don't worry, Erick will take my place when I will go back to my country!

Michaël Janelle-Montcalm

tl_files/images/photos/mike.pngI'm acting as Software Architect for Tutorius, so I'm your go-to guy for API concerns, development plan questions and inquiries about the project's vision. I also happen to play jazz trombone in my spare time and I'm known to write absurd blog posts once in a while. Oh, and my superpower is the ability to tell the price of a filled grocery cart with 10$ precision!

Erick Lavoie

tl_files/images/photos/LaMission.jpgI am the Far Seer of the Team. My job is to "keep the team eyes on the stars without tripping on the broken ground". I dream to give to the next generation of children geniuses from around the world, the means to achieve their true potential whatever their income or their origin. I heard the original siren call of an education revolution through a different computing platform and I am trying to communicate it to the rest of the team.  If you have far-fetch ideas or mind-blowing papers, talks, books or anything you would like to share from any fields, I am certainly interested and I will try as much as possible to integrate those in our day-to-day work. May the Powerful Ideas be with us!

Simon Poirier

tl_files/images/photos/sim.jpgMy official title is Guru of Infrastructure, but you can also call me Your Highness, or more simply Sim. I'm the one responsible for the things that usually don't work and that usually everybody complains about, except with me, nobody complains (so far ;). Other than that, unlike the others, I don't have any special ability: I.E. I don't have the ability to sleep as much as everyone else so I should have plenty of time to waste on interesting and time consuming features.

Jean-Christophe Savard

tl_files/images/photos/jc.jpgHello all ! I'm the standing "Test Sadist" for the Tutorius team ! My responsibilities are to annoy the hell out of my teammates by making sure each software modules we produce are working as they should, each user case we defined are respected and that the overall quality of the Tutorius applications is as high at we were aiming for when we got this great idea. And I'll be pretty inquisitive about it, be assured ! On a more personal note, I'm a full-fledged authentic blueberry (for people outside Quebec, that's mean I'm from here : http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=Lac+St-Jean&sll=37.0625,-95.677068&sspn=35.90509,79.101563&ie=UTF8&ll=48.658314,-72.103271&spn=0.936156,2.471924&z=9 ).

Benoit Tremblay

tl_files/images/photos/ben.jpgPassionate about Web development and social media, I'm the webmaster of the project's website (read this site) and in charge of increasing our website's visibility online. Also, because I love great designs and great designs love me (Steve Jobs rocks), I was the perfect candidate for the "UI Lover" role. On top of that, I'm also the "Risk ranger" of the project, but I'd like to say it's not because I have a great relation with risks, it's simply because someone had to do it.

Vincent Vinet

tl_files/images/photos/vince.pngMy official title is the Oompa-Lumpa of Communications. Apart from the Big Bang Theory reference, this means that if you don't know who you should be talking to, it is probably me. My role is to attempt to narrow the gap between our development team and the community as much as possible. I also happen to have a superhuman ability to find catchy acronyms for team, group or project names. Remember : acronyms can recurse or not, you might say!
